How do you win if you can’t even play? If you don’t know the rules? This weaving is part of a series I have been working through over the last year, exploring the relationship between a family member’s experience with schizophrenia and the game of chess. I created this object, which is recognizable as a chess board, but by stuffing each square the board becomes virtually unplayable
